DR. ROCK: ¡Ya le echaba de menos criatura mía! Si acude a mi prestigiosa Consulta con una poética reseña discográfica para ViriAor es buena señal. Comparta conmigo su opinión y estas cervezas. ¿Qué le ocurre, cómo es el disco que lleva clavado en el corazón y que le ronda por la cabeza? Láncese al extenso Mar de la Música con su “Alma Desnuda”. No se retraiga Aorero mío. ¡¡¡Yo le ayudaré!!!…Yo lo sé todo!!!
MANU: … ¡Dr. Rock de mi vida y de mi corazón! …estoy preocupado, ¡¡¡a veces oigo 3 Voces! Son 3 cantantes unidos para grabar un disco único. Sin un orden establecido…la perfecta voz de KENT HILLI se cuela en mi oído, con la orgullosa voz de TOBY HITCHCOCK activo los sentidos y sin la furia melódica de ROBBIE LABLANC me encuentro perdido. ¡Se presentan con elegancia y sofisticación estos 3 Señores!, se compenetran y cantan ante los idolatrados Dioses del “AOR” como…¡¡¡3 Tenores!!!. Yo ya les hice su merecido piquete de honores. Aunque se haya hecho larga la espera, este disco no se escucha a la ligera.
DR. ROCK: Sus visitas a mi Consulta son siempre, un poco raras. Mi memoria es infalible y mi conocimiento de la actualidad discográfica es total. Se alinearon los 3 astros necesarios para llevar a cabo uno de los proyectos más ambiciosos dentro del AOR contemporáneo. Uno, para diseñar un plan perfecto. Otro, por su veterana furia controlada. Y el otro, porque es un león cantando. A eso, añadimos la mente creadora e incansable de Alessandro Del Vechio para producir este glorioso disco, y ya tenemos un claro candidato para salir ganador en los Top 2.023. Bueno…cuénteme sus sensaciones y no se enrolle mucho.
MANU: Me alejo de los altavoces para diferenciar sus partes vocales en “April Rain”, pero no es necesario. No doy crédito a la conexión instantánea que se produce en mi cuerpo y mente si canta esta gente…coros trifásicos y me rompo en añicos. Asombra la musical estructura de alta arquitectura para darle cancha a las melodías repartidas en sus voces divididas. No es fácil emocionar a un veterano Aorero pero trago saliva ante tal demostración y esmero. Premio para compartir, 3 medallas se merecen por competir tan sanamente en “Naked soul”, parece una obviedad, pero desnudan sus almas sin privacidad. Un mismo estilo musical y 3 vocalistas distintos en su timbre, en su tono y en su sonoridad. No sé dónde colocar en “Nights” mi atención, es mi deseo oscuro hecho canción. Es auténtico, es real, es emoción, es pasión, es del A.O.R. lo mejor. ¡¡¡SÍÍÍÍÍ!!!
Bailar y cerrar los puños es lo que me provoca “Time is coming”, el AOR se articula con delicadeza y con energía, las vibraciones se exponen con sentimientos y alegría. Se desgañitan por turnos en “Silent cries”, se retan con deportividad y en mi interior todo es fuego musical. Clásico tras clásico y se entregan con naturalidad como en “Torn”, entre instrumentos maravillosos y música sin estrés el talento se multiplica por tres. Otra en clave épica, guitarra habladora y con piano para 3 voces es “I could”. La garra se demuestra rasgando y aquí no hay lugar para reservarse nada. Prohibido bajar el rendimiento en “Mother love”, se relevan, se doblan, se contestan, se sincronizan, se mezclan, se alternan y se ayudan. La hermandad en el AOR es de verdad y hay que conservarla.
Se pasea y se pavonea “Set fire to the rain” porque sabe que es la mejor. No hay atajos, pero hay senderos de melodía para 3 caballeros, con amplitud, altura y reposo sus voces se reparten versos, ardiente estribillo y yo disfruto como un chiquillo. Quiero más, necesito más…en “Stand for love” hay caña, hay tralla, hay intensidad, hay alma, ¡¡¡hay Hard Rock!!! Si no despierto en “Strength to carry on” es normal, estoy levitando con las pausas y espacios tan necesarios, ¡¡¡¡como desear con ansia agitar el ánimo y soñar con el Hard AOR!!!!…es algo extraordinario. Dr. Rock…acabé agotado…

MANU: Prosigo con mi visita y mi exposición. Los 3 cantantes son diferentes, pero son claros discípulos aventajados de JIMI JAMISON; KENT de la misma manera entona, TOBY lo vive en primera persona y ROBBIE lo siente y te desmorona. Eso queda reflejado y bien grabado en este brillante trabajo grupal que Frontiers ha diseñado. Un disco de AOR anhelado y meditado durante años, hasta que fructificó en cortas canciones de voces concentradas con un espíritu Survivor que me ha sobrepasado. Los músicos de este disco (Alessandro Del Vecchio/Francesco Savino/Jacopo Martignoni/Saal Richmond) pasarán a la historia con interpretaciones que suenan a gloria. Los compositores ofrecieron los mejores manjares a los 3 Tenores, con devoción y respeto a los grandes del género y con sus interpretaciones se erigen en sus dignos sucesores. Todos los involucrados en este proyecto han ejecutado la carambola perfecta, a 3 bandas, apoyándose en KENT HILLI, ROBBIE LABLANC y TOBY HITCHCOCK .
DR. ROCK: No me esperaba menos de Usted y de estos excelentes T3NORS. Una última conclusión y nos vamos, por favor.
MANU: Demasiado me he extendido, espero Dr. Rock que no sea tiempo perdido. De entre los 3 vencedores hay un superganador…pero eso es personal y me lo guardo en mi orgullo y en mi interior. A los leyentes les diré que este disco no se explica, ni se comenta, ni se reseña. Si te gusta y amas nuestro estilo musical, no me leas más. Aquí no hay que escribir nada más. Cómpralo, siéntelo, vívelo, báilalo y escúchalo en silencio. Comprobarás que la Música, nuestra Música, tiene valores y se viste de colores. MANU: … Dr. Rock of my life and my heart! …I’m worried, sometimes I hear 3 Voices! They are 3 singers united to record a unique album. Without an established order… the perfect voice of KENT HILLI slips into my ear, with the proud voice of TOBY HITCHCOCK I activate the senses and without the melodic fury of ROBBIE LABLANC I find myself lost. These 3 Gentlemen present themselves with elegance and sophistication! They interpenetrate and sing before the idolized Gods of the “AOR” like… 3 Tenors!!!. I already made them their deserved picket of honors. Although the wait has been long, this album is not heard lightly.
DR. ROCK: Your visits to my office are always, a little weird. My memory is infallible and my knowledge of record news is complete. The 3 necessary stars were aligned to carry out one of the most ambitious projects within the contemporary AOR. One, to design a perfect plan. Another, by his veteran controlled fury. MANU: I move away from the speakers to differentiate your vocal parts in “April Rain”, but it is not necessary. I can’t believe the instantaneous connection that occurs in my body and mind if these people sing… triphasic choirs and I break into pieces. The musical structure of high architecture amazes to give way to the melodies distributed in their divided voices. It is not easy to move a veteran Aorero but I swallow saliva at such a demonstration and care. Award to share, they deserve 3 medals for competing so healthily in “Naked soul”, it seems obvious, but they bare their souls without privacy. The same musical style and 3 different vocalists in their timbre, in their tone and in their sound. I don’t know where to place my attention in “Nights”, it’s my dark desire made into a song. It is authentic, it is real, it is emotion, it is passion, it is from the A.O.R. the best. YES!!!
Dancing and clenching my fists is what «Time is coming» provokes me, the AOR is articulated with finesse and energy, the vibrations are exposed with feelings and joy. They hoot in turns in “Silent cries”, they challenge each other with sportsmanship and inside me everything is musical fire. Classic after classic and they are delivered naturally as in «Torn», between wonderful instruments and music without stress the talent is multiplied by three. Another epic key, talkative guitar and piano for 3 voices is «I could». The claw is demonstrated by tearing and here there is no place to reserve anything. Forbidden to lower the performance in «Mother love», they take over, double, answer, synchronize, mix, alternate and help each other. The brotherhood in the AOR is real and we must preserve it.
She struts around and struts «Set fire to the rain» because she knows she’s the best. There are no shortcuts, but there are melody trails for 3 gentlemen, with amplitude, height and rest, their voices share verses, a fiery refrain and I enjoy myself like a child. I want more, I need more…in “Stand for love” there is cane, there is whiplash, there is intensity, there is soul, there is Hard Rock!!! If I don’t wake up in “Strength to carry on” it’s normal, I’m levitating with the much-needed pauses and spaces, how I can’t wait to shake my spirits and dream of the Hard AOR!!!!…it’s something extraordinary. MANU: I continue with my visit and my presentation. The 3 singers are different, but they are clear outstanding disciples of JIMI JAMISON; KENT intones in the same way, TOBY lives it in the first person and ROBBIE feels it and breaks you down. An AOR album I longed for and meditated on for years, until it came to fruition in short songs with concentrated voices with a Survivor spirit that has surpassed me. The composers offered the best delicacies to the 3 Tenors, with devotion and respect to the greats of the genre and with their interpretations they become their worthy successors. Everyone involved in this project has executed the perfect carom, 3-cushion, supported by KENT HILLI, ROBBIE LABLANC and TOBY HITCHCOCK.
